Registered in 1967 and following members
contributed for its upliftment as Founder

OBJECTIVES
OF APTI:
To
identify specific objectives of
the pharmacy profession and to define
the objects of pharmacy education
in India for coming decade.
To bring the
Pharmacy Teachers on one platform
and meet regularly to discuss the
various issues of Pharmacy Education.
Develop the
methods, techniques, to impart the
quality Education in Pharmacy profession.
To discuss the
current needs of Pharma Industry
and notify the syllabus pattern
accordingly to satisfy the need
of industry.
To honour the
Best Teachers and Principals for
their contribution in Pharma Profession.
To establish
the Pharmacy Teachers Training Institute
to identify continuing Education,
Training, Post Diploma or Post Graduate
programmes needed for updating training
material for such programmes.
To generate
financial resources to carry out
activities of APTI.
To project APTI
as the only voluntary agency to
be consulted by the Govt. in the
matter related to Pharmacy Education.
To build up
rapport with regulatory bodies,
Central Govt. and Industries for
objectives identified.
To spread the
awareness of Pharmacy profession
in society by arranging various
camps related to health.
To provide information
regarding job opportunities in Pharmacy
education.
To publish quality
books and pay honorarium to contributors
to improve the standards of publication.
To publish -
Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical
Education (IJPER) & Research
and APTI Bulletin.

for Pharmacy Teachers.
Creation of
Database of all Pharmacy Teacher
and Institute in India and to provide
it on Internet.
Interaction
with Pharmacy Teachers Association
of other countries.
Publishing quality
books in pharmacy and Audio visual
cassettes procurement and distribution
from abroad.
Continuing
Education Programmes in Pharmacy.
